After successfully signing into Yahoo Home Page using Firefox 3.6 I am continually rerouted back to signin when I select email. I have uninstalled Firefox, rebooted computer (laptop), restarted computer, RE-installed Firefox 3.6, but the issue remains. HELP! BTW, the issue does NOT happen if I use IE as the browser...ONLY on Firefox. I use AVG for security and firewall.

One of your add-ons might be the culprit. Try running Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode with all add-ons disabled. If that solves the problem, see Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems . The Yahoo! Toolbar can cause this.

Also Try deleting cookies and cache:

1. Tools| Clear recent history

2. Time range to clear: Everything

3. If it isn't already selected, select Cookies and Cache

You may want to keep cookies from other websites and only remove the Yahoo cookies.

Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

A quick way to see which cookies a website has stored is to click the favicon (Site Identification icon) on the left end of the location bar.
Click the "More Information" button to go to the Security tab in the "Tools > Page Info" window.
Click the "View Cookies" button to open the Cookie Manager and see which cookies that domain has stored.
