TB 91.9.0 Windows, says it cannot update, need to download and install. How do I . . .
Thunderbird 91.9.0 says it cannot update and I need to download and install new version.
1. will this wipe out my current version? 2. How do I back up the old version/data so that it is recoverable?
I have things stored in some folders that I really do not want to have to singularly back up to other files and folders, as it would take me about 3 hours to do.
Any help apprecated.

Your current profile, unless you changed it which is unlikely, is at c:\users\yourid\appdata\roaming\thunderbird. If you copy all of that (when TB is NOT running), you will have a full backup of your settings and accounts.
