I can't delete an autosuggest entry in the url so that it doesnt pop up when I type the first letter. Followed the guide. It didnt work.

I have followed the guidance for deleting an autofill/autosuggest that pops up every time I put the first letter in the "url box.". I have followed the directions for using the arrow to highlight and press delete and tried shift delete (when I do those, it deletes it from the list thats currently showing, but if I try to type it in again it shows up in the list again. It will do that whether I close and reopen the browser or not). It is not a bookmarked site. I have even uninstalled Firefox from my computer and reinstalled it... still no change. I have gone into History and executed "clear recent history" and chosen everything. I have gone into history and searched for it, and it is not there.

How do I delete this from auto suggesting?

Also: In case it matters, in the drop-down, to the left of it, there is a circle that looks like its supposed to be a globe. it has two lines going lateral and two lines going vertical in the circle.
