TB cannot send messages after connecting through VPN
When I am on a VPN, Thunderbird asks me for a new password to log into my E-Mail provider. I have read a few posts regarding the same issue and found no solution other than to disconnect from the VPN. In one of the Posts it was mentioned that the Anti Virus would cause the issue, my system has no Anti Virus, using Ubuntu. I am certain that this is a very simple thing I missed since VPN's are very common and are destined to be more common in the near future for obvious reasons. Any help is very welcome. Regards Juergen

Thank you. You are 100% correct. Had to get on the whitelist.
According to the VPN instructions (NordVPN), the SMTP port has to set to 587 or 465. In my case, the default is 587 and I tried 465, as well, but my outgoing email still doesn't get out.
Any other ideas? Suggestions?
