Sometimes while I'm surfing the net, Firefox spontaneously opens a new window that says Congratulations! Your Pinterest Button is Working! (no duh) along with a flurry of apps it wants me to buy/download/whatever. How can I stop this intrusive and annoying ad from interrupting whenever it feels like it? Behold a screenshot of the offending window. Thank you for your help.

Thanks. Is there a way to stop it from delighting me with this information?

You would have to contact the author of the extension (Baris Derin) and ask to add this feature to suppress the updated page possibly via a pref.

Now today, a completely different window appeared out of nowhere, for gogarden.com. This is totally out of hand.
