Accounts sync via various users

Dear Support Team,

I have a question in regards with your product Mozilla Thunderbird. We have 7 email accounts hosted on Google servers. We are using Mozilla Thunderbrid to check our email and also to synchronize the email tracking (read/answer) for all of the users. To clarify a bit I can explain that on each computer we have installed Mozila Thunderbird and setup all 7 of the email addresses. This means that my colleagues can see if I read the emails and also they can read/answer for me. The problem I have is in regards with the account synchronization as for example if on on of the computers i select an email and "star"-it the other users should be able to see this in real time. Which is not happening. I have read via the documentation and all the steps have been completed. Would you be able to check this issue for us? If requested we can provide remote access on the PC (teamviewer/logmein or any software you wish) and one of your engineers can have a look.

Second issue I have with the software is that every time I am opening the software it starts to synchronize my sent items (over 1500 emails). And it does this all the time. is that normal? Could you please have a look at this as well?

I think when you "star" a message, this is strictly local to your profile, and cannot be synced.

Wrt your second issue, you can configure synchronization for an email account.

It would probably take a while to download all 1500 messages, so this may be the reason it looks like it's doing this again and again.

If you don't want or need the offline copy of your sent messages, disable synchronization. It may be useful though in connection with Global Search.
