Hello, someone is posing as firefox on a website that looks official. I was just contacted them and they tried to get me to pay them $700 for tech support.

Hello. I just tried to contact Firefox for technical support. I went to another website that looked official and called the 1800 FireFox Tech support phone number they listed. It turns out it is a scam. They had me go to a site that allowed them to look at my desktop to see the problem. Then they informed me I had been hacked by someone else and they said they would fix it promptly for $700.

I have lost the back arrow on my Google Search bar and I had called google and they said I needed to speak with the browser provider so that is why I made the call to the 800 tech number.

I feel you should be aware of this. There is another website posing as FireFox officials.
