Website icon in address bar gone!
Where is it gone? and how do I re enable it?

Why do you think that is necessary? That icon is still on tabs.
It ain't coming back in the address bar until someone comes up with an add-on to restore it.

It ain't coming back in the address bar until someone comes up with an add-on to restore it.
The favicon on the location bar has been replaced by padlock icon and you won't see the favicon on the location bar anymore.
You now only have the favicon on the tab bar.
I've just switched back to 13. There is no reason for Mozilla to change all this stuff on us. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
