For 2 days, I have been unable to connect to the I'net using Mozilla Firefox. When I try, I get a brief flash of my home page on my montor followed by the Mozilla Crash Reporter dialogue box, which I have repeatedly checked to send for analysis.

I'm not sure if it starts in Safe Mode, since I'm unable to access the firefox start-up window to initialize a Safe Mode startup . . . . . (it crashes on start-up).

Can you help, please?

Firefox 7.0.1 Crash Report [@ _purecall | nsXPTCStubBase::QueryInterface(nsID const&, void**) ]
This is caused by Trusteer Rapport. Try to disable it and see if that stops the crashing.
You can stop Rapport using Start Menu > Programs > Trusteer Rapport > Stop Rapport
You can ask their helpdesk when an updated version of their product will be made available or, if you don't need this software, uninstall it.

Thank you! Worked like a charm and still works after re-enabling Rapport.
