a downloaded file is supposed to be saved in a folde, but it is not there.

Please do the following.
- In the location bar at the top, type about:config and hit Enter.
- In the filter at the top, copy/paste the following setting: browser.download.manager.scanWhenDone
- Then double click it to change the setting from "True" to False.
- Then close Firefox via File | Exit and restart it again.
- Finally, go download a file again, right click it and choose "Open Containing Folder". Should be in the folder it was downloaded to.
Incidentally, your Flash installation is seriously out of date and a security risk as is Java too.
Update both by going to these links:
