How can I get more history saved?

How can I get more history? I used to get unlimited history and now I only get a month. I cannot find any preference settings.

tools>options>privacy>change to "use custom settings for history" then you can change number of days

NB it does not have number of days on version 4

I assume they are kept until you delete the history

sry, i'm using 3.6.15 i would assume the option is available but i'm not familiar with 4. gl

icecurtain, Firefox 4 uses a different process for determining how much History to keep, it no longer uses a minimum number of days. For details see http://blog.bonardo.net/2010/01/20/places-got-async-expiration
