what good is a persona or a theme if you can't see them fully? I only see the top two inches of the color I chose.. so what good is choosing a landscape if the whole thing can't be seen?
I chose soulsong as a theme...what good is it if you can't see the whole landscape. All I got was some of the colors of the top two inches. Why bother?

Yep, I agree - why bother. But my objection has to do the time the developers wasted creating that silly feature, time that IMO would have been better spent on fixing the many hundreds of print-related Bugs in the core of Firefox.
So.... just to be clear... mine is not a special settings problem with the themes? Everybody has the same problem??.... Nuts! WTF? OMG...LMAO....sheesh.....
Don't forget the time I've wasted looking for some sort of view settings ........... and searching for help on the topic......Seems like there should be a warning some where... "Caution:.. If you download any of these foo foo themes or personas, you will be wasting everybody's time trying to get them to work."

No, everybody doesn't have that problem. The more Toolbars you have, the more of the Persona image is visible. I don't use a Persona myself because I configure Firefox so that I have only one Toolbar showing, to allow more room for page content. No space left for any part of a Persona image in my configuration. I have tested some Personas just enough to answer some common user issues.
Firefox comes with 3 Toolbars, the Menu bar, the Navigation bar, and the Bookmarks toolbar. It may vary depending on your operating system and whether you have Large or Small toolbar icons selected, but on my wide screen desktop system I need to have 10 toolbars showing to see the full height of the Persona I have selected. YMMV The spec for the Toolbar area image is 3000px by 200px - so you need 200px worth of Toolbars to see the entire height of that Persona image, dependent on the Tab-strip showing all the time.
You can create blank Toolbars using View > Toolbars - Customize Hit the Add New Toolbar button, name that new toolbar (I named them Spacer 1 -7), and then add a single Space to each new Toolbar. Repeat until you have 7 more Toolbars. When you're done - hit the Done button.
My problem is actually that we wanted to have a "persona" or photo instead of a home page, rather than just as a band at the top, proving that we do not really understand what a "persona" is, so I am laughing at your explanation. The only reason your reply "isn't helpful" is because we were thinking a persona was something it isn't! But you DID help by explaining THAT! Thanks!
