1. Often TB won't show new message, it'll list a number of new message, maybe I can actually scroll down & view a few of them, but quite often, I'll try to scroll down and can't see that new message that TB indicates exists. Or I have to click on an old message, then try again, click on another message I've already viewed then scroll down to where the new message is. This morning, tried both several times, still couldn't see the new message that TB insists is there.

2. At one time, when you opened TB, you were automatically taken to the end of all the messages in your inbox or if you fllter emails to folders, to the end of messages in that particular folder. No more, you have to scroll down to the end. Why? It's a waste of time for me to do that and as far as I know, TB places no limit on the number of emails in an inbox so . . . why was that changed? Because it was user friendly?

In my search I noticed that there was one TB user who was so upset he/she/they wanted to return to v. 102. I wonder how many people, seeing the response, also have returned to a previous version. I know I'm really tired of getting additional bells & whistles i don't use, changes to what you see that don't help me at all, plus making using TB more of a hassle--see above. Please fix the above problems. If it's not fixed in the next upgrade--which I'm hesitant to install given the result of the last few upgrades that introduced the above hassles--then I'll probably go back to an older version too.

115.3.2 is almost 6 months old and there have been many fixes since then.

Please update to 115.9.0 (which will be out today) and then post your results. Thanks.

I updated TB, doing so did not solve either problem. When I looked at "what's new" for whatever the latest version was, there was no mention of either of my problems being "fixed." If there was a 'what's new' for all the other versions I didn't know how to find it.

So, what now?

Do the problems reproduce if you have done Help > Troubleshoot Mode?

No change when I put TB into troubleshooting mode. Past two days, TB seems to load emails what are, via a filter, directed to a specific email folder. The number of new emails will appear next to the name of the folder but it can be several minutes, plus a restart of TB, before I can actually see & read them. The other problem of my having to scroll down through all the emails in my inbox to see any new emails (that aren't filtered into folders) is unchanged.

It seems as though my wifi has slowed in the past few days, something has affected the length of time it takes TB to load at all, and how long it seems to take for TB to access my emails & download them. Although it may be TB that's having more issues.

I had no telecommunications service of any kind for around 3 weeks after an ice storm in February, while the electrical power in my neighborhood was restored after almost 4 days. I was house & petting sitting in a less hard hit & larger town when the ice storm arrived so I can't be sure of the date my landline, wifi et al stopped working, although I'm sure neither was functional when I was able to get to my home & clear out both freezers of any animal protein. That & some family issues are why it's taken me so long to respond re: your suggestion.

I've spent time moving or deleting emails from my inbox, 100+, it's made no difference re: TB automatically placing my view at the end of emails in my inbox, i.e. where new emails are, which TB used to do.
