My computer crashed and I'm now trying to launch Thunderbird. I have a successful install. Can I create a temporary profile so the app will run? HeLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLP Please.

THunderbird reads the profile.ini file at c:\users?\<yourid>\appdata\roaming\thunderbird. That text file points to the correct profile. If that profile does not exist, you get the message you mentioned and TB shuts down. If you KNOW where the profile is, you can edit the profiles.ini with notepad. If you just want to start over, then reinstall thunderbird and it will set up a blank profile to use.
