What on earth have you done on this 'SuperNova' Update?

The Thread Pane is pointlessly large. I used to adjust this to about three lines of emails - now the minimum setting is about TEN lines. I cannot read my emails! They are left taking up about an inch of the screen!

I tried the vertical layout and while I can read the emails better, a huge chunk of the screen is pointlessly taken up with the list - and it's still far too wide.

I found one ridiculously complex 'workaround' which more of less meant writing code - no thanks!

Please post a screen shot of the full monitor display so we can understand the proportions. Thanks

Hi Wayne

Thanks very much for getting back. Please find an image attached showing the whole screen - as you will see, the 'Thread Pane' is now 10 entries long, and as a result you can hardly read the email ! I've tried the little 'double arrow' and that is as far up as it goes. Changing to vertical mode no better. While very grateful for the free Thunderbird, interesting to see now the number of other complaints stacking up about various aspects of the new display - if this aspect will not be changed can you tell me, as others have asked, how to 'roll back' to the last version?

Many thanks Ross
