Cannot see Pin to Toolbar option to add extension shortcut icon to toolbar
I have bought a new pc with Windows 11 home pre-installed and set Mozilla Firefox latest version as default browser ...the issue i am having is placing add-on extension shortcut icons on toolbar. I installed Norton Safe Web and this installed ok and is listed in extension control panel and when i click puzzle icon Norton Safe Web is not shown under manage shortcuts nor can i see option to Pin to Toolbar. Have tried several attempts but still get nowhere.I uninstalled Mozilla Firefox...restarted pc ... did a fresh install of Mozilla Firefox without altering any settings..re-installed Norton Safe Web and still cannot see option to Pin to Toolbar.Clicking the gear icon does not help Have i missed a step somewhere ?
I have sorted problem ...i forgot i had profile folder of firefox from previous pc on usb and copied the contents of this folder and pasted the contents into firefox on new pc...everything works ok now.Diese Antwort im Kontext lesen 👍 0

Firefox 109 comes with the Extensions button as the new way to manage your extensions. The Extensions button (puzzle piece icon) drop-down serves as overflow area for extensions you install, the legacy chevron (>>) overflow area still exists but is only used for built-in toolbar buttons as found in the Customize palette. You can click the gear icon next to an extension or use the right-click context menu to pin the extension to the toolbar (Pin to Toolbar). To (re)move the extension from the toolbar back to the Extensions button drop-down, you can use "Unpin from Toolbar" in the right-click context menu.
Thanks for reply Cor-el, I let you know later how i got on with add-on extension Pin to Toolbar as i have a personal problem to sort out first. Will add some screen shots of what i see on pc.
