How to I get rid of the new pop up print applet.
Most annoying thing ever. Used to be when I wanted to print just the 1st page of an email I could do it in 2 clicks.... now I have to fill in what pages i want ...took a simple thing and made it more "clickey" ... finally got it to let me open PDFs with native Acrobat program.... this one I can't get rid off.

You can do this by adjusting a setting using the configuration editor .
Open the configuration editor and in the box "Search preference name" type print.prefer_system_dialog. The configuration editor will show you the value for this setting and it should read "false". Double click on the preference name and watch the value turn to "true". Now you can close the configuration editor.
Next time you want to print a message you get the system default printing dialogue.
