Adding folders to Thunderbird
Why would Thunderbird be refusing to add folders to the three e-mail addresses I use it for? One account has 24 folders , next has two, last one has five. I've looked at all the switches in Settings and can't find anything indicating I'm locked out from creating new folders. But I am.
If anyone has any ideas on this, please let me know.

What error messages are you seeing? Are these POP or IMAP accounts?
There are no error messages, no popups, nothing.
When I right-click one of the IMAP e-mail accounts and select New Folder and provide a new folder name, the click Create Folder, nothing gets created.
I've even deleted folder, thinking maybe Thunderbird needs a little room to work. But I still can't create a new folder and have it show in my folder tree. And all that did was cause me to lose a few folders that I now can't create again.
I wonder if this may be caused by your IMAP account. Have you tried adding the folder online? That may do it.
