Firefox ignores my .mozilla folder

Hello guys,

I am running Opensuse Tumbleweed and just had to install due to major hardware changes. Usually i just back up my .mozilla folder containing lots of settings off of my backup drive. But Firefox seems to ignore it this time. How do i make firefox read this folder?

You can use the button on the "Help -> More Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page (Root directory).

What "major hardware changes"? Are you using a different drive? You may have or need a new profile; you can import data from the old profile. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/recovering-important-data-from-an-old-profile
