I keep important emails in my local folder. Recently I had an issue with Thunderbird and had to re-install it. After that, while all my email accounts were still visible, my local folders do not show. If I use file explorer on my windows pc, I can see the appropriate FCL.sbd file has everything in but the emails and folders don't show in Thunderbird. Please help as these emails are important to me.

Looks like I've fixed it myself by changing the attributes of the files in the *.sbd folder. I did this in each file 'properties' to uncheck 'hidden'. It seems Thunderbird had changed them to hidden when I reinstalled it, though not sure why it would do this. Of course, to see the files I had to enable the 'profiles' folder (C:\Users\.........\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles) to show hidden files in it's sub-folders. I hope this fix helps others too.
