Hi Warrenton, what steps are you following?

On "desktop" versions of Firefox -- Windows, Mac, and Linux -- Sync settings can be found on the Options/Preferences page:

• Windows: "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options
• Mac: "3-bar" menu button (or Firefox menu) > Preferences
• Linux: "3-bar" menu button (or Edit menu) > Preferences
• Any system: type or paste about:preferences into the address bar and press Enter/Return to load it

In the left column, click Firefox Account

Then your Sync settings will be on the right (after connecting to a Firefox Account). Is there where you run into the problem?

Sorry, I must have used the wrong word. I can get my >options >preferences, but I can't sync. Sync used to be in the menu as a category or option all on it's own. Reading the help pages, it says to click on Menu, then click on Sync, but Sync isn't there. So I must be doing something wrong.

The top item on my main menu is "Sign in to Sync" since I am not signed in. (This Firefox 62 is not connected to a Firefox Account at all.)

On another Firefox that is signed in, my Firefox account email address appears on the menu and there is a button to the right of that with two arrows forming a circle which is the "Sync" button. (That's in the "Nightly" version which eventually will evolve into Firefox 64.)

Does that sound like anything on your menu?

Ah ha! You got it. Yes, indeed, I have my email address as the first item in the main menu with two arrows. I did not know that was the Sync button. And it synced 8 minutes ago.

When I wasn't signed into Firefox, I must have missed the Sign into Sync. Was looking for what and where it used to be.
