Trying to solve issue for a friend. Occurred while his wife was using the computer so has no idea how this happened. When he opens Firefox, the web page is displayed off to the right side of the monitor. This does not occur with IE or Google Chrome. He is only able to see the very left side of the web page and unable to drag the page to the left. I have attempted to un-install and re-install Firefox and that does not solve the issue. His OS is Windows 8. resolution is 16810x150 which is irrelevant because it does not happen with IE or Google Chrome. Can anyone assist?

The good news is, you can see where it is!

While Firefox is the active window, press Alt+Spacebar to trigger the window control menu. This may be fully visible or only partially. Click Move or press M to start the Move mode. Then press the Left Arrow key until the window moves far enough left that you can see a blank area of the title bar. At that point, press the Enter key to cancel Move mode and drag with the mouse, or you can keep using the arrow key and press Enter at the end.

Success?

Another option would be to temporarily turn off the menu bar in Firefox using this key sequence (press and release in this order):

Alt v t m

Which is equivalent to:

View > Toolbars > Menu Bar

When the menu bar is not displayed, there is a "drag space" to the left of the first tab. Since the menu bar is optional, that's probably why we don't see this issue more often.
