I really need to use the website and I know it is safe because other people in my company use it. Why can i not get in? This happens when I am logged into InfoTorg and press a particular button. So I can log in.

Hi, what security software are you running please ?

Are you trying to go with in Private Mode ?

What is the exact error message you get please ?

How can I see what security software I am using? I do not know what Private mode is.

The error message I get is in Swedish and says "Säker anslutning misslyckades" which means "Secure connection failed".

I can connect to that website with the current release.

You can try to rename the cert9.db (cert9.db.old) file and remove the cert8.db file used previously in the Firefox profile folder to remove intermediate certificates and exceptions that Firefox has stored.

If that has helped to solve the problem then you can remove the renamed cert9.db.old file.

Firefox will store intermediate certificates that a server sends in the Certificate Manager for future use. Otherwise you can undo the rename.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.

I can also connect to the website but when I am trying to press a button when I've logged in I get the error message.

I am sorry I dont understand how I am going to rename the file. Where is the file? I am sorry I am not very familiar with Firefox.

Note that I meant that I can access the website that shows on the error page (www5.infotorg.se).

The file I mentioned is in the Firefox profile folder.

You can open the on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page and look under the Application Basic section and Profile Directory for the Show Folder button. If you click this button then you should open Windows File Explorer with the profile folder selected. Close Firefox before proceeding with making changes.

In this folder you should see the cert9.db file. There might also be a cert8.db file used in older Firefox versions. You can rename both files and add .old to the file name.

Note that Windows hides some file extensions by default and you may only see a file name without file extension. You can check the file extension (file type) in the Properties of the file in Windows Explorer via the right-click context menu just to be sure.

So I think I have two files called cert9.db and i renamed on of them with .old but when I do the other one it says that there is already one with the name. Should i delete one of them?
