Hi, if you know what folder you accidentally dropped it in all you have to do is go to that folder and open it, find your Folder; Click it and Drag it out to where you want it.

There is no other way.

As long as you haven't closed Firefox, in the Library window go to Organize and use the Undo menu item.

When I find my Folder and click on it, the folder opens and when I try to drag it I get one of those "can't do that" icons.

What is the name of that folder?

It may be one of the "smart" folders.

It's just a folder like all my other ones. A new one I created yesterday. What's a "smart" folder?

A smart folder has a different icon (looks like a sprocket).

To do major moves, the Library window works best. Either:

• "Show All Bookmarks"
• Ctrl+Shift+b

If you think there is a risk things will get more mixed up, you can create a Backup (.json file) first. See: Restore bookmarks from backup or move them to another computer.

You can expand the folder list in the left column. Then click the current folder location of the lost folder and it should appear in the list on the right side. To move it to a different location, you should be able to either:

• click-and-drag the folder from the right side to the new destination on the left side and drop it there
• right-click > Cut the folder on the right side, then open the destination folder so its contents appear there, then right-click a blank space in that folder and Paste.
