I just upgaded to the latest version of firefox, and now all the dropdown menus of the extensions like noscript, abp, greasemonkey, just show a tiny white area of say 2x1 cm and no real contents. Of course the first advise is to start in safemode, I did, but then of course non of the extensions show up, exiting safemode restores the problem. One other advise was to unchek recommended performance settings, I did. nothing changed (not after a restart) And one other thing I checked was layers.acceleration.disabled which is set to true layers.acceleration.force-enabled is set to false

so, I don't know what else to do. Does any of you guys have more suggestions?

while I was trying to downgrade as mentioned by ultima-lord above, mozilla suggested to use the refresh option. After that I reinstalled the plugins and it worked fine. Thanks

It happened to me with the add-on lastpass. I solved it by installing an older version of the add-on. If that doesn't work try downgrading the browser.
