Where are my DELETED emails?
New to Thunderbird - clicked DELETE for many emails - where are they?

Box for JUNK was checked - had looked there before, but it was in JUNK under LOCAL folders - thanks!

What's your account type - POP or IMAP?
Where would you expect your deleted messages to be?
Account type - IMAP Messages would be in a "DELETED" folder with "SENT" etc
Are you subscribed to the Trash/Deleted folder? File-Subscribe

When I delete a message
Am subscribed to TRASH folder Where are SERVER SETTINGS?
From the Menu Bar select Tools-Account Settings. If the Menu Bar is hidden press the Alt key to make it appear.
Or
Right click the account in the Folder Pane and select Settings.

How do I know if my account type is POP or IMAP? I would expect my deleted messages to go into TRASH. When I look in Trash the deleted messages are NOT there
