why cant I sign into firefox

I can not sign into my Firefox account using my previous sign in data. I tried to change password and when I get to the box that says a new link has been sent to my gmail address, the link is never transmitted. I have tried this several times without success. I even got to the send again box, but still no email.

Did you check to make sure the link isn't sent to the spam folder, when it is sent?
