How do I uninstall Firefox to make way for Waterfox?

more options

I recently was having problems with my computer (Dell Latitude D830) with its Windows 7 Professional operating system. I was using the Firefox web browser. Sometimes while playing videos on Youtube (or anywhere) the video would bail out, and I'd have to go back to the web site again and start over. Mostly the video would leave if I paused it for too long. So, I tried to uninstall Firefox so I could install Waterfox. I thought that web browser would work better. I think I'm right because I'm using it now. Anyway, I tried uninstalling Firefox but it never quite left. It's gone from the program list, but when I try to uninstall when I go into the Control Panel and click on uninstall (and then click on "Yes") it doesn't disappear like it's supposed to. It just stays there. So, now I have Waterfox and it operates. The problem with that is Waterfox is trying to update me (or upgrade, I forget) on its web browser but can't because it knows that Firefox is still there, somehow. It wants me to get rid of Firefox. How do I totally erase Firefox from my system?
