Hi Hombart, does the Add-ons page, Extensions list, show any explanation for the problem with the Yahoo toolbar? Either:

• Command+Shift+a
• "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. Then find Yahoo on the right. If it's disabled, it would be all the way at the bottom.

Why did you choose Firefox beta? Perhaps you would prefer the regular Firefox release, which is Firefox 45.

No explanation, just that it was updated today 4-26-16. Re Firefox beta? This is not beta, this is an update, as I said, issued today I would like to go back to Firefox 45. Can this be done? If so how do I do it on my Mac OS OSX10.9-.5

There was a recent extension update (April 26) from Yahoo for Firefox 46.0 https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/yahoo-toolbar/versions/

If you are having a problem with a extension(s) after a new major Firefox version then check to see if there has been a update for the extension(s).

What version is your Yahoo toolbar? On the Add-ons page, you may need to use the "More" link to see the version number.

Yahoo issued an update today to version 3.2.16.20160426042437 at https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/yahoo-toolbar/

• The version notes say "The version (3.2.16) fixes the broken Toolbar experience on Firefox 46"

• A user review says: '"Yahoo! Toolbar not working after Firefox 46.0 update. Can you fix it, please? -- A few hours later with the updated version of Yahoo! Toolbar it's working again. THANKS! :-)"

If you have the older one, try installing the newer one.

If you already have the newer one, hmm, I wonder what's going on.
