about:newtab crashes firefox
i have just upgraded to win10 with no other hardware or software upgrades, Firefox was working fine just before, now it crashes when i open a new tab when the new tab is set to abou:newtab this used to display a tiled arrangement of regulary veiwed pages, but now it is crashin when set to this mode, i am not a hardcore software programmer so none of the other pages are helping me (the ones where you mod something in a cgf file or even opening the developer options, i can't do anything in there)
please help me i want this function back!

SOLVED, did a search in about:config, and the problem was this http://puu.sh/jwlMj/5c7d8ad631.png the highlighted line was set to false, setting to True solved this

Do you using the latest version of Firefox? The latest stable version is 39.0.3. If you still not updated your Firefox, please immidiatly update it. Hope your problem ll be solve. If you dont know how you can update your firefox, please read this article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/update-firefox-latest-version

1st thing i did after it started crashing was a clean install! so it is the latest version!
