thunderbird imap status "connection refused"
Thunderbird on my Windows 8.1 laptop used to check my imap s.walters@smehelper.com account without problem UNTIL 2 days ago when my domain began to expire.
When I realised the disconnection, I immediately called my domain provider and paid the domain. Able to check my email again instantly via my phone etc EXCEPT via thunderbird on laptop!
Thunderbird keeps popping up saying "connection refused".
I've tried: options, security, forget passwords - in case this was an issue - but doesn't fix it! I've tried: restarting my laptop - doesn't fix it.
Any ideas? PS. Problem with free software is there's nbo f***ing support; not an even a paid support option! #nuts
