I can't sign in although I just verified my account through my email now Firefox says my password is wrong and Outlook is not receiving the reset email

I just downloaded Firefox and was very careful picking a password I can remember. I verified the account using my Outlook email. However when I attempted to browse more themes following the link on the Firefox customize page it required I sign in again. But the password was rejected so I attempted to get it reset but email did not go through. I tried again, same thing Outlook only has the verification email from Firefox although it's been over a half an hour. I has no idea what's wrong, my Outlook email has never taken long to receive an email. I also don't understand how the written down and carefully put in password is rejected. What should I do? I can't delete Firefox and start over because I can't sign in although I never signed out. Thank you.

The Addons.Mozilla.Org website uses a different / separate registration and login than Support.Mozilla.Org uses (this website and knowledgebase). No problem with using the same username / email address and password on both, but you need to register for each separately; and staying logged in uses separate cookies - like with two unrelated websites.

The Addons.Mozilla.Org website uses a different / separate registration and login than Support.Mozilla.Org uses (this website and knowledgebase). No problem with using the same username / email address and password on both, but you need to register for each separately; and staying logged in uses separate cookies - like with two unrelated websites.
