Using google it always provides a list for the requested search item. Since yesterday it does not begin and times out. If I use yahoo this does not happen. I also updated firefox but still have the same problem. How do you update google maybe this will help?

HI jrodi, Google search does no update as often as Firefox does. ;-) However I understand that suggestions are lagging and not working properly. I am happy to help.

  1. First please make sure all of your extensions are up to date: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/
  2. Try Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings
  3. Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware
