I have the following error message's: 0x80550005 [ns]MsgFolder.updateFolder
Since a few days I can't open my inbox. Have no idea how this has happend, don't know how to fix it. I send also a screen shot of the error.

I think you should download a fresh copy and reinstall. from getthunderbird.com
Thanx for the suggestion, but that didn't work. I have solved the problem myself.
I used the search function for the "in" box. I searched with the date prior to the date when the problems started.
For some reason this made the problem disappear. Everything is working fine.
