Yesterday I added a master password for security. I wrote the password down. Today I cannot get in. I must have mis-spelled the password when I typed it in. How can remove the old password and enter a new correct one? Many thanks!

You can reset the Master Password. But for security reasons, that action will clear the Password Manager. If you can't remember . . . . . . sorry.

In the event that the passwords information is lost, you should record all information in a separate text file somewhere else on your hard drive, or written down. You can easily copy and paste if you need to do so. If you are concerned about someone else looking at that file, you can compress it using a password.

Did you try to toggle Caps lock in case hat was switched on the previous time or was switched on now?

You would normally need to type a new MP twice for confirmation.

Did you use any non_ASCII characters in the MP?

If you did then try to change the MP in the Options/Preferences > Security and use only basic ASCII and symbols, but not accented characters.
