Hello,

I have this wallpaper blog www.uhdwallpapers.org (hosted on the blogger platform) and starting yesterday morning the twitter share button don't load in Firefox. (works perfect in Chrome, but I'm not a fan of chrome and wish the button to work on FF too)

I didn't change anything in my site code in last week.

Take a look at the printscreen to see exactly what i mean.

I have the same problem on my desktop and laptop.

[It is strange because the "followers" button from the right sidebar is loaded OK.]

Works for me.

Is the content in the iframe being requested?

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Thank you @cor-el for your reply.

I'm the same with "user1205143" (i've deleted this account because I already had an account on https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox) and don't wish to have to and the login process is a little bit confusing...

Anyway, I managed to resolve the issue.

The problem was between this 3 things: javascript-jquery and the iframe that is loaded from twitter script and the way that FF load this 2 things. (until 2 days works just fine)

Until yesterday I've used to load twitter, fb and google+ this jquery script:

<script>$(document).ready(function(){setTimeout(function(){$('#sh2').fadeIn(1000);}, 3000);});</script>

(The id '#sh2' had in css assinged "display:none;" and through javascript-jqeury was changed to "display:block;" and because of that "display:none;" the twitter button don't worked in FF and IE, now i've set "opacity:0" and change with jquery-javascript to "opacity:1")

Yesterday afternoon I've changed the script to and now works on Firefox and Internet Explorer too just perfect:

<script>$(document).ready(function(){setTimeout(function() $('#sh2').animate({opacity:1},700);},2200);});</script>

Thank you @cor-el for your reply!
