Does that happen with Firefox safe mode? If not, could be an extension acting up.

Restarted---and so far symptoms went away---Did not even have to re boot firefox----Fintarry and Fred mc d

Fred--all symptoms returned---working in safe mode now---and all is wacko---with c-d drawer// followed suggestions and re-freshed firefox As I wrote this----drawer opened and closed 10 times Did yesterdays microsoft update as well--malicious software removal tool for march...........

thanks for your efforts----Can't leave system on---or it will drive me nuts and wear out the drawer...........

Fred---just put in a blank---will let it reclose----on its own

am in safe mode and still doing it...........Just closed//on its own//

Microsoft security essentials is my protect system......should I run a full scan? Takes about 3 hrs---was going to do it tonight............

Drawer just re-opened..with blank--installed __________________________________ Thank you again----safe mode does not seem to be helping//
