I originally was able to create the home page shortcut to Piped with Chrome, but the shortcut launched Chrome, even though Firefox is my default browser?

Piped [https://piped.kavin.rocks/https://pip.../|Piped]

So I deleted the shortcut. Now, Chrome no longer even offers me the option to "Add to Home Screen" from the Piped page, but it still does for other sites. Within Chrome, It now offers me the option to open the page in Firefox, even if I make Chrome the default browser.

How can I get a shortcut to Piped on my home page that will open in Firefox?

Hi there! I'm kind of clueless with this problem of mine. Is there any way to set a homepage on android firefox, where I hit the home button on the left top corner and it is just going to take me to eg. google.ie? Same like on the dektop one? Also when i hit a link the mobile browser just keeps opening a new tab anytime I click on one of them? Hope it is understandable, english isn't my first language. thanks in advance for any help.

Is there a way to force "dark mode" for websites on mobile WITHOUT using an extension like Dark Reader?

I am comparing this to coming from Brave, where I am using their "experimental" Night Mode settings (which works great). For the desktop browser, I've gone to Manage Colors and swapped text/background white/black to make most websites appear as if they have a dark mode, but that option doesn't seem to exist on mobile.

I've attached 4 images that show the differences across the two browsers on mobile. Even Google's own Dark Theme doesn't seem accessible through whatever method FireFox uses, so I can't even use that dark theme without an extension at the moment.

If this is not currently possible, I'm hoping it's planned for future implementation. I can't suggest it either since the feature suggestion page appears to be down at the moment (being reworked?).

I hit something in error and now my search results are dark. Only the google screen as attached. if I go to the links on the search page they will be light. I read someone say that by touching the top of the screen can do that?. I may have done I was half asleep.

There is no about:config

The theme is light in settings/ customise. Latest FF in android 12 on an Honor x6

Also it is only FF, Brave shows search results as light.

I hate that dark look and want the ligh one back
