I've already described the issue on the XDA forum, but nothing has been resolved and the problem is still there and I've read about security vulnerabilities in the browser and it could have fallen into this one Party I don't know anymore. but since the version with the ending 17, I don't remember exactly now. I'm having a problem with my phone's security. VirusTootal detects the Trojan for me in applications where the Trojan is not present.

I've tried cleaning my phone.but it doesn't help.

I'm using F-Droid and I'll use this example to tell you what's going on. for some time now I have been updating almost all the new ones that I download zl from there I also download with a Trojan, these applications are clean in other users. And I'm sure they're okay, but not for me. I don't know what's going on, I thought they were false positives but why would I be the only one who has it?

The ones from Google Play have some too. Be it from github or fdroid -It doesn't matter :( Some manage to be clean, but really these are the cases.. Of course, I also downloaded mods. thanks for the reply and tips. health for all' I would like to add that I used this browser because of the add-ons and options.. The photos are just a preview and a fraction of the problem. Nothing helps from resetting, deleting apk by even adb and after updates.

My Android Firefox consums 53% of the battery. See Screenshot. It was not in use. Standard browser is Firefox klar. There are no addons installed. The app was removed and newly installed several times. How can I fix the problem?

I have a strong phone sd 870 and 6gb ram so need to put the blame on that.. but this browser keeps refreshing the webpage as soon as I leave to other apps.. yes I tried with no battery restrictions but didn't solve the problem

going to the battery usage shows that firefox is using a lot of cpu no background refresh, high number of wifi data.

developers of Firefox could add few options for users

1. if there are multiple tabs make all inactive and only the active tab consume data

2. use compression engine so that less data is sent over the wire 3. dont auto play audio or video 4. use new os level power management https://developer.android.com/about/versions/14/behavior-changes-all

Using firefox's version of Facebook, when viewing a comment on a post I've made, the comment is cut off at the bottom. It seems like that particular page is not being formatted correctly. I cannot scroll up anymore to reveal it. See the attached image.

I've recently began to experience some pretty nasty behavior of firefox on android. After some time of using the browser (with closing the app in between), The screen starts to flicker (on every website) and the app becomes unusable. I have to force stop the app for it to work for a while again, until it starts flickering again. I have few theories myself (Something wrong with the web-engine, or garbage collector perhaps?) but I don't know how true they are. I did recently update to Android 14 and didn't see this behavior beforehand. I can't show a demonstration because I can't attach video's. Can I post a link to a video?

The power draw can be heinous. In 37 minutes of use so far for this full charging cycle, it has used 5 times the power (measured by Android's battery page) as RedReader has in its roughly 2.5 hours. Is there a way that can be brought to heel a bit?

I've encountered an unusual issue while browsing on Mozilla Firefox for Android. When I try to access any website certain elements seem to break or display incorrectly. However, upon checking on other browsers and devices, everything appears fine and Ok.

Has anyone experienced similar website breakage issues specifically on Firefox for Android? The most recent I checked this site of my mobile and as in routine it gives same issues. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot or resolve this anomaly would be greatly appreciated!

I used the Firefox mobile app for a while now and I noticed a high battery usage from it. If 10% of battery gets drained during the night, at least 75% of that is used by Firefox (according to the battery stats of my Pixel 6)

Is it possible to slow down the background sync or maybe dont sync at all during the night if the phone is locked?

Since 1/8/24 I have been unable to load www.google.com on Firefox for Android 121.0.1 (Build #2015995071). It displays only a blank white page. It works fine in other browsers or if I toggle desktop mode. Add-ons aren't a factor as I've tried with them disabled.

Everytime I tried entering Google via Firefox it keeps giving me a white screen, I tried restarting my phone, clearing cookies, clearing search history, resetting my wifi even though it was doing it when I didn't have access to WiFi at work, un-installing and then reinstalling the app still nothing worked.

Hello, i have a problem since yesterday afternoon, google.com always loads to a blank page as you can see in the screenshot bellow.

Fixes I tried: -Deleted cache within android app management. (Firefox cache) -Deleted cache within firefox

-reinstalled app.

since yesterday the Google homepage is not displayed any more. When you enter www.google.de you will get an empty white screen. Other browsers (Chrome, Samsung internet) still display the homepage correctly. Can you please solve this problem? If you need any further information to do so, please let me know.

Going to https://one.google.com works Typing in the search bar and viewing the search results works Accessing all other URLs works

Accessing https://www.google.com on Chrome works

How do I resolve the issue?
