Firefox til Android supportforum

Hi,

I'm not really sure when this problem started, but since yesterday (05/07) I noticed that I am unable to open any website, even the google.com main site is not opening using Firefox for Android.

I use it as my default browser, so I really would like to be able to use it again as before.

I haven't tried to remove and reinstall it, but I will do it, just to be sure.

It happen since yesterday. When I open any tabs I choose in the app, it doesn't load, and only shows a blank grey page. I can't even refresh these pages. In fact, on every tab I go to, the results will be the same. Is this a bug? If so, please solve it.

I given feedback on firefox in google appstore and developer told me to further explanation what is happening. Firefox sometimes, becomes unresponsive for specific sites ... It starts loading them, but it get stuck in 1/4 of loading bar. It happens early morning most of the times which is unusual, right after I wake up. Site that it happens the most is 9gag.com. However, sometimes it happens to google search itself. What is funny when I use google search to access 9gag it fixes the problem, at least 33% of time, force stopping Firefox and cleaning cache helps additional 33% of time. Sometimes restart of phone is only thing that fixes the issue. My phone is xiaomy redminote5 with lineage 18.1 which is android 11. I use addons ublock and privacy bagger. 2 days ago and now nothing will load at all I reinstalled and tried to get in about:config but that also won't load. I am on a OnePlus Nord running Android version 11, oxygen OS 11.1.10.10.AC01BA

I'm having trouble with Firefox on my mobile device. It was working fine yesterday but won't access the internet now. It runs but won't connect. All other programs on my device access it as always. Could I have unknowingly disabled it? I've made no changes to any of my settings for months. I don't want to lose the info it has acquired by reinstalling. Can you please help?

All web pages in Firefox for Android and blank, just a white screen. Send like the same issue others have reported recently, but unlike them v114.1.1 has not fixed it. It may even have been when it started though I'm not sure about that.

Sometimes, Firefox 114.2.0 for Android suddenly stops rendering pages or loading new pages.

• Try to search: instantly stops loading, completely white tab, address bar content changes to search
• Try to enter an address directly: doesn’t load, completely white tab, address bar contents stay the same
• Force quitting and reloading doesn’t change anything
• Clearing cache doesn’t change anything
• Clearing data fixes the problem, at the cost of losing all home-screen customization, extensions, and search engine customization, which aren’t synced with the Firefox account

I can't get any sites to load in my Firefox app since the update to 114.2. I have cleared my cache, forced a stop, and done everything else that's ever worked in the past short of uninstalling and reinstalling. It looks like 114.2 was supposed to fix this issue in older versions, but I'm still having issues.

Firefox on my android phone (OnePlus Nord N200) won't load any web pages and there is a red line across the lock icon in the address. This is happening to any web page I try to open. I am not getting any error messages and the browser home screen shows my open tabs. When I click on them (or if I do a new search) all I get is a blank page and the address with the red line across the lock. No problem with Chrome, nor with Firefox on other mobile devices.

I don't know what's going on. All of the sudden, I just get a slash the the little "person" symbol to the far left of the search bar for every single tab and can't is the app at all, no matter what website I try to search. What is going on?

Nothing will load in my browser after an Android update to my phone last night. All pages that I was viewing yesterday on different tabs remain gray--no error or other indication of how to fix this. Chrome and Incognito load the same pages without issue and work fine.

I suspect the issue was introduced with the Android update to my phone last night but not sure.

For some reason, when I open a link on another app, the browser just stays on a blank screen. The loading bar doesn't even appear. I tried to do Open in Firefox, but it does the same thing, and it even makes it so any time I try to go to another tab or try to go to a different website immediately after, it gets stuck on the blank screen as well. I had to force close the app and reopen it to fix it. I don't know if it's a firewall issue or incompatibility.

Within the last couple days at least, firefox just does not load any sites on the phone. They simply show an empty page. Chrome will load the same site under the same network conditions.

I'm on Android 11, Oxygen 11.0.13.BE.89BA

Whenever I open up Firefox and enter a website or a google search nothing happens.

No loading screen, no crash, just nothing.

Uninstalling it and reinstalling it works once, but then the second time I open Firefox I'm back to the same issue.

Google Chrome works just fine, and I'm not having any issues related to data or wifi.

Periodically, the following bug occurs on different phones. I also found it in complaints on google play and I will take the text from there (you do not give a solution to the problem), but I will provide my screenshots. This is not the first time this issue has occurred, on various phones in my family. "I tried using it again, and EVERY website I try to access doesn't load. It just shows a gray screen and the lock in the URL bar is in the "connection is not secure" graphic. I can't even access about :config because it's also just a gray screen.HOWEVER, every other browser on my phone works." It helps to solve problems only by completely deleting all firefox files and then setting it up from scratch. It is unpleasant.
