Hi,
The primary e-mail on my account has been hacked for over a decade. I just did a fresh install in Windows not realizing I wouldn't be able to sign in to my Firefox account using my current e-mail because apparently my current e-mail is "not the primary account holder e-mail". Now I imagine I would have added it as a backup e-mail for the case of if I couldn't access my primary e-mail (which as I've said I haven't been able to do since approximately 2011 or so) but there isn't even an option to send the confirmation to the backup e-mail in that case. I'm really tired of going through this on every website I signed up on prior to our e-mails getting hacked. Is there a way we can just change the owner to the other e-mail so I can get back into my account please?

Hello,
My bank's website has a 2 page verification process for logging on. The first page is for the User ID and the second page is for the password.
Until just a few days ago, I could enter the first letter of my User ID into my bank's website login field, and FF would auto-fill the rest. Now when I enter that first letter, nothing happens. I then have to look up this info before I can continue. Luckily, the second page (for the password) is working just fine.
If I remember correctly, there has been a recent FF update. This new update may be the source of this issue.
Please help!
Thanks, Andre'a

I saved my login information for several accounts in the Firefox (desktop) built-in password manager. Then I got Firefox on my phone, found out passwords aren't protected as well on the mobile version, so I turned off sync then removed them from my phone. Later I turned sync back on thinking that it would just sync my tabs and, if it did do anything with passwords, it would copy my logins from my computer to my phone instead of removing them from my computer. That was yesterday, today I needed one of those passwords (randomly generated so I don't remember it) so I went to my saved logins on desktop and they were all gone. Is there any way to recover them?

Dear,
I need to recover my Mozilla (Firefox) account on my computer after this latter crashed. Unfortunately, apparently I don't have the good password. Probably I used an automatically generated password which I don't remember.
I still have my account connected on my Android smartphone, but I can't access the account details (no way to recover my password or change through this device?!), and I can't export my bookmarks. Also, apparently all my identifiers and passwords were not synced on my smartphone :-( Hence somewhere all my precious information are available, but stupidly enough I can't access it anymore and resetting the password warns me that I might (is it even a certainty or a possibility?) lose everything. It seems that I cannot even produce a revovery key (to reset pwd without losing data as mentioned in the Help pages) as I can't connect on a desktop browser anymore (but well on my Android version). I am lost and just stupidly blocked - this is SO frustrating, I initially thought it would be a good idea to put everything in Mozilla - well...
Is there ANY way to actually recover my account without losing data on my desktop Firefox, given I still have access to the email account associated to the Mozilla account (and to the original emails from the creation of my accounts) and I still have access to my Firefox account on the Android app but this one doesn't seem to allow to do anything interesting in my case??
Thanks a lot!

Hi, I am trying to create a new account on a website with standard email, password, and retype password fields. I have checked the Suggest and generate strong passwords box, yet Firefox (v109.0 on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS) is not suggesting a password. I have tried left clicking and right clicking on both password and retype password fields to no avail. Help?
TIA
In the permissions section, the microphone settings wont let me add a website.

Hello, I will try to describe my issue. Today I, as always, turned on my computer and just the same way as always opened firefox to browse the internet. Then, I found out that im logged out of almost every site like Facebook, YouTube, Gmail, Twitch, Amazon but some of them remained logged in. Those logged-out sites asked me to accept cookies which I have done a lot of years ago. It was such a peculiar situation, because all of the passwords were saved and I could just log in again. I didn't find any unauthorized loggings. I wonder if it's a random situation or somebody is executing it. Do you have any idea how would that happen? Best regards

Hi, I am a photographer, and am currently working on my website. I don't know how this happened, but I noticed a mysterious Pin It icon on my site early January. I had a Pinterest account (unused), which I deleted, thinking I could get rid of this pesky thing. Now I have no Pinterest account, but 2 Pin It icons. Bizarrely, they only show up on Firefox, not Chrome. (I use Firefox 99% of the time.) Could you please advise me? Thank you very much, Anne Saint-Pierre

To: Firefox company Hello My name is Hossein Razeghi and I’m from Iran. In the last two days, I installed a browser extension called Trust Wallet. Unfortunately, the extension was infected with a virus and when I entered my 12 key password, all my data was stolen, today I found that they stole all the money I had. As you probably heard we are struggle with high inflation and unstable economy in Iran because of Global sanctions, my salary is about less than 150 dollar per month, so i decided to save what earn by USDT in my trust wallet to protect it from 60% present annually inflation and now my money months of hard work gone by a an scam extension, I know that I probably can not do anything to back what I lost because nobody wouldn’t accept the responsibility, but my only hope is maybe there be someone that could so something for me, honestly it was all I had after four month hard work.
I don’t know if there is any protocol for Supervision of this kind of extensions, Firefox has a good reputation in the world for many years and I need your help. Please, if you can do something, give me an answer to send you more detail. It’s my email: [email removed from public] My phone number: [phone# removed from public]
