I recently purchased a dell refurbished computer, I set it up went and downloaded fire fox without any trouble. I restarted computer today and it would not accept password I called DiscountcomputerDepot.com help and they helped me to restart and they told me they would have to reinstall windows from computer. So I lost all my programs. when it restarted said would have to update windows. Hello everyone! I have a question concerning what the default value settings are for the two below security.tls.versions in About:Config. Mine are currently set at 4 for version.max and 3 for version.min. The reason I ask is that I have gotten two Event 36871 errors since updating Firefox to 100.0.1 stating "A fatal error occurred while creating a TLS client credential. The internal error state is 10013." I was using no other program besides Firefox at the time I received the errors.

I have this problem with both Firefox and Edge, private mode or not. After logging at addons.mozilla.org, it's requiring me to setup 2-factor. I go through the process and everything is successful. It asks me to enter one recovery code to make sure I'll be able to login. I enter one and it shows on the top with a green background that 2-factor was setup successfully. But then nothing happens. No redirection or links. I try accessing the site in another browser and I have to go through the whole setup again which also appears successful, but then nothing happens. I attached the image that shows it was successful. I have no idea what to do since there is no error and I have the same problem across multiple browsers. Any suggestions?

My employer sent me a link to sign up for an employment planning service. I need to enter my name, DOB and their entry code. The second line is being blocked and I cannot type in it. I need to type their entry code on this line. I have attached a copy of the screenshot. I am not sure what the Mask limit is for this line as it is not a line that I am typing my email address in.

I had jira as my default search engine (https://jira.<mydomain>.com). This continues to work on my existing profile. But i am unable to add it on a new profile, I get an error "Firefox could not install the search engine from: https://jira.<mydomain>.com/osd.jsp"

So, i tried copying the existing profile folder and using that folder for the new profile, but firefox removes the jira search engine and gives me a warning saying that the default search engine was changed to Google (screenshot attached)

Is there a way to get this added via a hack of some kind? I wanted separate profiles so that I keep my project profiles separated - bookmarks, cookies, scripts etc.,

For about a month how I find that the Firefox download list opens by itself multiple times during the day. Most of the time I'm not even actively using firefox, it's just idling in the background. When it first happened I figured it'd be a quickly patched bug and so didn't ask around about it. But I've had a ff update since then and it still happens. Does anyone know why this is happening? I have not seen reports of this via search.

After i just updated Firefox to newest version .. I can not load any website anymore!!!!!! please make it so i can return to the previous version ASAP so everything works again.

The credit card autofill shows all the credit cards but when I click on any of them it does not autofill. Ive used this hundreds of times before and it worked fine. I never changed any settings and the autofill setting is on.

Firefox does not print the right edge of web pages that are made in landscape mode.

I set FF to "Fit to page width" but it does not print the right edge. It's cut off.

And there is no Orientation option available. Not sure if that has any significance because it supposed to "Fit to page width" anyway.

What's the work around to fix this?

I use the recent activity page as a homepage with the icons of the websites that I most frequently use. but i can't figure how to adjust/pick the icons (websites) that I want to appear on this page. Something is picking them for me. And when I delete an icon another one pops in place but is generally a website I rarely use. How can I choose the icons (websites) that I want to appear on this page?

Hours after exiting firefox, the application continues to run processes and hold on to the memory it was using when I exited the application. The only way to free the memory is to key the processes via Task Manager

I can't no longer use "wetransfer.com" Their homepage does not load properly and no matter what I click on this page it starts using the CPU 100% and slows down everything and nothing happens anymore. I whitelisted this website in all privacy-extensions, and because in a flits I saw that "firefox essentials" was blocking something - despite the whitelist - I uninstalled it. To no avail. Firefox 100.0.1 (64 bits) under Windows 11 home 64 bits. How can I find out what is the problem ? Thanks for helping out.

I've been using Firefox for over 10 years. Slows down to a halt. It happens when opening a new tab or googling. I hit enter and it stops working. I've reinstalled FF3 times and it keeps failing.

I have virus protection and I'm running it without firewall. I'm on windows 10.

I decided to make a fresh windows install, and when i installed firefox as allways i logged in.

Normally when i have logged in on a fresh installation of firefox it startes with the sync and getting all my old booksmarks, add-ons, passwords etc. but this time i didn't.

I thought that was weird but didn't pay mind to it, i thought i might have needed some time to sync. After 4 hours nothing has happended yet.

I have to many things i would like to recover... this have never been an issue before? Do anyone have some tips?

Using Ancestry.com for genealogical research. The option exists to view other trees with comparable information. Works in Chrome, Vivaldi and Opera. Works in Firefox Developer. Will not work in FF 100.0.2. I've tried the usual troubleshooting - safe mode, enabling/disabling DNSPrefetch. Example URL http://trees.ancestry.com/pt/PersonMatch.aspx?tid=44861136&pid=162378642007&src=m which should display snapshots of other trees containing the same people. Only on Firefox, I am redirected to my homepage on the website. I have read of others having the same problem. Any fix suggestions? Thanks.

Even though my settings is set for "always ask ..", in the latest Firefox versions all files are automatically saved to "Downloads" on my hard drive. Could you please rectify this error?

Is there a way in Firefox to have quicker access to saved logins than through the menu structure? The menus are four layers deep, which is frustrating as it is difficult to remember the route when only using the feature occasionally. Some websites don't respect the Firefox Password Manager, so it sometimes becomes necessary to manually find the credentials.

Is there any way to create a bookmark to the saved login section?

Is there perhaps an add-on?

So weird, in the last few days, I've had intermittent behavior using FF.

Some examples - I log into my Gmail account, and it works for several minutes and then goes unresponsive and I can't get new mail, when I click the refresh icon or refresh the browser. - Last 3 days, when I click a hyperlink in an email, a new browser tab opens, but it's blank, the url doesn't seem to pass to the new tab - When I type a search term in browser address bar and hit enter, the tab refreshes but nothing happens... e.g. https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=firefox

Troubleshooting steps tried. - Disabled all extensions - Started to uninstall FF, but got prompted to "refresh firefox" instead, which I did yesterday, but still have the same problems...

I can access Gmail and other functionality works fine on Chrome on same laptop. I've used different laptop with FF and it works fine, both machines on the same network....
