I want to report that spyware named FindItPro which I, foolishly, downloaded. Well, it's a virus, right? But no antivirus can delete it completely. It comes back and you can't find the source. So, there should be some problem in your browser that allows it to live.

I'll send you a website where I got it. [link to suspected malware removed] BE CAREFUL. Virus will be downloaded along with Opera browser or something. I'll send this report also to some antivirus company. Yes, I was foolish, but I hope you will fix it.

Hi there, i got different firefox issues displaying websites. my configuration: firefox 117.0 (64bit) cleaned 5 minutes ago addons deinstalled (all) kaspersky firewall deactivated fresh start on different sites an ad guard site pops up telling me protection for children when relaoding F5 site it tells certificate is not safe after reloading whit shift+f5 it tells site is not reachable

if i open the same website on chrome on the same laptop everything works fine. there are days when these errors do not occur. on other days it is simply impossible to surf the net. i do not have installed ad blockers or even adguard. but adguard website shows up. we got an avm fritzbox 7590ax to access fibre 500mbit. it seems firefox is not able to interact with something. maybe provider netcologne?

i treid everything to get these website going but nothing worked. and it is only firefox. chrome works. opera too. edge okay.... :-)

any suggestion where to start find out where this adguard websites comes from? any idea why firefox got so many security issues with just normal websites?

Hello, After the last update (September 2023), I've been having issues with in-game ads being blocked, even with exceptions added and Advanced Tracking options turned off.

I got them to work for a couple of days, but now they're being blocked again. I've cleared cache & cookies, restarted Firefox, reset permissions, all have not helped.

Please advise!

I get a insecure connection symbol on many sites I have been to with. This symbol leads me to understand the site is not safe in some way when, in the past, (like webmail) have previously been safe. These sites open with other browsers. What’s up???

Almost 4-5 months I can't download anything with suspicious code inside (repack or keygen, or test compiled file, 4ex. from Github) cause FF defense blocks it every time even when it's disabled! And even when I manually allow to download this zipped file, I get an error message of damaged archive file format! FF crashes and damages my files!!! (Don't try to point on my other defense software - I don't use it and everything is disabled, and other browsers works good). This is very important bug for me, so I already think to change and migrate to Opera or another browser.

I have two Firefox accounts. First was one, second is this one

also my business one.

For first one I cannot access it because I changed my phone and did not migrate authenticator app. From that day I am using my business mail account. Now this was long time ago and my first account is now inactive for long time.

So I would kindly ask you to release my original account one. I will do any required confirmation you ask from me. Firefox on my business account is not very convenient for me and I would still want to use account features.

Hello, I ran into an authorization problem after restarting the application. For example, I installed firefox and log in YouTube, then closed firefox. And when I ran it, I had to log in again

Since about two weeks wecom.org will not accept my log in info, have reset password etc and it works till next time- repeat over and over. I have no problem with login with Chrome with the latest login I have used. Why!! I have Norton and their anti tracking program which I have turned off for Wescom, still does not work. CHrome works with anti tracker on or off. Wecom does not have an answear for me. Is this a firefox issue? i am frustrated with not being able to do my online banking. Not a computer nerd so I do not know where to turn.

Recently, I updated ubuntu to the latest version, and had set Firefox as my primary browser (as I normally did).

I, however, could no longer access to the local hidden directories, i.e.: .local, etc., with this version. I even tried to disable Firefox sandbox security, security.sandbox.content.level = 0, and changed chown/chmod to the lowest levels, but those didn't help.

The issue can be repeated via the URL in Firefox as followed:

file:///home/y2021x/.local

or any other hidden directory. I could open these files/directories in the older versions of Firefox.

Am I overlooking something? I appreciate very much if you could help me find out the solution to this problem. Thank you very much.

For last fiew days I get a double prompt for primary password when I start a firefox session (on linux ubuntu 20.04). I'm worried if this is a bug or a troyan.

What can I do to find out?

I'm trying to connect to octopi.local and keep getting the "Internal Sever Error" when trying to connect to my Octopie with octopi.local. This has never happened before and all I can figure out it that my browser has updated to version 96. How do I get around this so i can monitor my printers?
