I have attached images of what slowly occurs when I don't clear my cookies, websites start to slowly and slowly load less and less until they eventually completely break and wont load and I have to clear my cookies, resign into everything. and rinse and repeat every few days or a week, I also attached an image of what the purchase screen is supposed to look like. So Mozilla supports privacy rights- and I've supported Mozilla for that reason- but they want Whatsapp to be censored for "misinformation" ? How does that go together? Whatsapp was supposed to be encrypted and not even Whatsapp was supposed to know the content of messages. How would they know about misinformation? And how do they get to decide what's misinformation now?

Had to replace FF with Chrome in order to play DRM content on my W11 laptop. I get message saying you are downloading remedy, but nothing ever changes. Would prefer to continue 15+ year relationship with FF, but seems like youre abandoning capabilities for DRM video content?

I'm using Firefox with Google as my default search engine. When ever I try to type in the Google search box, what I am typing appears in the address bar. I want to search in the Google search box as it is at eye level for what I am doing. I have tried all sorts of ideas from the web to fix this but no joy. Does anyone know how I disable this? I am unable to login to the DVLC. I get as far as the enter reg number of a car to check it,s been taxed. Then after I input the reg number the next page tell me it is an insecure page. This also happens on my laptop. On both desktop and laptop I am using firefox with duck duck go as an add on. However. In using my mobile with the stand alone duck duck go browser, I can log in and complete the task. This points to a problem with Firefox. Any advice's. This seems to be recent as I have used the laptop and desktop to use the check for a taxed car system ok in the past.

To upload/import bookmarks into Firefox, the file extension of JSON is required. However from old crashed computer, I exported bookmarks in Excel. Please help. Thanks

I've been having issues with the websites that I commonly go to no longer appear on the autosuggest list. Websites I haven't gone to for ten years appear when I type in a given sequence rather than more common ones. Website that I go to every day no longer appear.

Multiple websites suggest this sequence:

I follow the "clear all.." and nothing changes. How can I start anew and have FF re-learn my url history?

Outlook is not working properly in Firefox. Works fine in other browsers but I prefer Firefox. It is only showing the first 20 or so e-mails, will not show e-mails in any other box, i.e sent etc.

Running Firefox 125.0.1 on MacOS 14.2.1, all audio input is very quiet for all applications, not just Firefox.

Experiments I ran:

• people can barely hear me in Google Meets
• microphone works great in Quicktime (making a recording) when Firefox is running but not receiving audio input
• microphone is very quiet in Quicktime when running a Google Meet in Firefox
• microphone is very quiet in Quicktime when running a discord voice channel in Firefox
• microphone works great in Quicktime when running Google Meet in Chrome

This started maybe ~3 months ago for me. I'd love to see a fix, since Firefox is my favorite browser in most other ways - otherwise I'll have to give up and switch to Chrome at long last :'(

We have been trying to get to the bottom of this problem in my company, but we ruled out everything else than Firefox itself. Periodically Firefox experiences an APPCRASH event for multiple users. It used on a Windows Server 2019 that is used as a Terminal Server. When this APPCRASH occurs even though the profile of the user is there, Firefox creates a brand new profile for the user and all the passwords and form data is lost. Browsing history is lost too, but that is not a problem.

I've included some tracelog in the troubleshooting info field. Does anyone have any direction that I could go towards?

In firefox Ubuntu (WSLg) the dropdown menus don't work. I have already tried reinstalling both firefox, and the entire OS.

When I press Custom URLs... (see image) nothing happens. This issue is everywhere in the brouwser, on websites, even when I press help in the hamburger menu. (Or settings in that same hamburger menu.)

OS: Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS on Windows 10 x86_64 Kernel: 5.15.146.1-microsoft-standard-WSL2 Shell: bash 5.1.16

When I enter text in Firefox 125.0.1 for Netgear's firmware download page at https://www.netgear.com/support/download/ to search for "GS108Ev3" Ethernet Switch, I get no response. It works in Firefox Troubleshoot Mode and works with Chrome Browser.

Hello, sadly I have the problem since a few days that firefox opens a new tab with the same error every time I google something or click on a new page/subpage etc. The URL on the error page is all the time "https://0.0.0.1/" mentention of course a page loading error. I don't know why firefox keeps oppening new tabs with this URL. I allrady tried to use the clearing function and even reinstalled the software, nothing worked. Maybe somebody can help me solving this problem, it is very annoying to have multiple new error-tabs per minute in a normal work flow. Thanks and best regards, Thomas

I've just updated to Firefox 125 and now, when I start to type in the URL bar and get my suggestion dropdown of previously visited pages, I no longer can see the actual url for each entry. All I see is the top level name for each entry.

This is not helpful, as I may have perviously visited a number of pages on that site and the information shown does not give me a way to differentiate sufficiently between those pages.

How can I get the exact url displayed on the suggestions dropdown.

How can I get those top level descriptions NOT displayed, so that only the urls are shown?

I think with the update to 125, I no longer see the typical Windows window controls in the upper right - minimize, maximize, close - so I don't know how to do those things.

THe top right looks like this Mac-based image (where those buttons are on the upper left) but I'm running on Windows so I don't have the dot buttons on top left nor the Windows style min/max/close at top right.

What do I need to do to get them back?
