Due to predatory business practices, I have resorted to launching a basic webhosting business to support my other businesses and provide cost effective online presence solutions to small businesses. In order to provide the best service, I'll need to become a certification authority. I am well aware of how to generate AES256 encrypted key pairs (4096), and I will have no trouble following the rules listed in section 2 here:

Since last upgrade Firefox seems unable to access any wordpress sites.

Always says to enable cookies. I've done that but still not possible access.

Is Firefox now becoming so "secure" it is useless?

There are more and more web sites where Firefox just is no longer a viable browser.

There is no clear "ENABLE" cookies option to resolve this just pages on explanations about safety yada yada yada.

I just want a button that says ENABLE COOKIES so I don't have to constantly seek answers to use this browser on a particular web site.

As much as I hate Chrome I am finding it more useful now than FireFox

Using Firefox 112.0 on a Win 10 64bit HP Omen running an Nvidia GTX 1070 and 32GB ram onboard. When I go to watch tv in my office through https://watch.spectrum.net/livetv, the resolution will randomly just drop out to an unwatchable blurred mess. It may do it right off the bat when I open the link, or it may drop out minutes, or even hours into it. Bandwidth is not an issue, as I'm running WIFI 6 on the 5Ghz channel pulling an average Speedtest result of 220Mbps, with a ping of 12ms. Upload is an asymmetric ~12Mbps, but that's a moot point, I feel. There are no issues with YT, or watching Twitch. Running Firefox 112, Edge, Brave, and Chrome side by side to compare picture quality, surprisingly Firefox presents the clearest, sharpest video when it is rendering properly, which makes this a bit more frustrating. This loss of quality occurs to a lesser degree and frequency in Edge and Chrome, but I've yet to see it in Brave. So that leads me to think it might be a GPU setting. I've tried increasing several of the 'about:config' media.cache, browser.cache settings, disabled the browser.cache.disk.size.smart_enable, to no avail. I factory reset the Tp-Link Ac-1900, enabled/disabled all ALG protocols, switched between 20/40/80Mghz, adjusted RTS threshold everywhere between 500 to 2346. Enabled/disabled IGMP snooping. I also toggled/adjusted several of the MFAA, FXAA, anisotropic, shader cache size, etc within the Nvidia control panel. I feel I have a gremlin under the hood. Thank you for any suggestions or ideas! I love troubleshooting, but I'm gonna have to call in reinforcements on this one!

Can FirefoxTranslations be used offline?

Whenever I try to use FirefoxTranslations offline, I get errors like:

"We found an error loading the translation engine"

or, sometimes,

"We could not find the translation engine to download" (even though the relevant language's translation-engine has already been downloaded.

I was under the impression that we could use FirefoxTranslations also offline, but it wouldn't be the first time I happen to be wrong........

I’ve run into this issue where youtube will turn the text of the window it’s in into bars and whenever I mouse over stuff it disappears or reappears. It happens most when i use picture-in-picture mode. Can anyone tell me why this happens or at least point me in a good direction to troubleshoot?

Graphical explanation here. Basically, the icons on the side of the URL bar are misaligned. Prior to the latest update to version 112.02 (installed via Pacman), the icons were not visible, yet the buttons worked as intended.

I'm suspecting that there's an issue with the GTK icon theme (see attachment for system settings), but I'm not sure how I can resolve it.

I would like to be able to reset links on a webpage to be as if I have never clicked on them, but I am unable to do so. I have tried:

-Resetting all of the cookies, history, etc for that individual website. -Removing the URLs from the links in question from my browser history. -Downloading this extension: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/remove-visited-link/ and using it -Going into settings and changing the visited link color.

Nothing has worked so far. One thing about the website in question is it has its own unique color for visited links---I am wondering if that is causing this? Additionally, this persists whether or not I am signed in to this website.

I logged into my bank acct. as usual to check my balance and transactions. All went well until I reached my balance figure. Usually, I click on that balance figure to reveal the previous transactions. This time and all following times, the transactions did NOT appear! Long story/short, I contacted Key Bank's Customer Support only for them to tell me that Key does not support Firefox browsers anymore 'after their security updating!' They suggest switching to mainstream browsers like Google Chrome, Safari, and Microsoft Edge!

I have been a satisfied user of Firefox for years now and don't want to change now! I suspect that because Firefox has good security features, this has become "undesirable" to mainstream business sites because they prefer the mainstream browsers that have (Browser Fingerprinting technology) to track the activities of the users of their sites!!! My question now is: Can Firefox find a way to fix this problem???

I have been using a financial site (Credit Union) for years. A few days ago I started seeing what appears to be code in the menu bars instead of text or icons. The site claims it is fine and the issue is either Windows or a browser problem. Windows 11 is up to date and Firefox claims to be also. If I use Edge (NOT my default browser) the site works fine. Attached are screenshots from each browser and a shot of the browser console after logging into the site. Whazzup?

I'm at my wits' end. There are a few websites that just don't open for some reason. Either they don't load at all and I get a blank page or there's a problem with the way they load. I've done some troubleshooting. Figured it might be an add-on, safe mode didn't fix it. Tried a 'refresh'. Didn't fix it. Figured it might be corrupt cache after the first visit, but deleting cache didn't fix it.

Finally tried reinstalling Firefox and it did... but not for long. After the reinstall, the websites were accessible again no problem. But then the next time I closed Firefox and restarted it or shut down my computer, the problem was back. This is 100% consistent. No exceptions. Always reproduces the issue.

To give examples of websites that for some reason stop working: A couple of websites for a game I play (trackmania.exchange and trackmania.io) My work Outlook inbox and more generally the whole Office 365 suite online. The Twitter feed. For some reason the UI loads but the feed just says "Something went wrong. Try reloading". I'm sure there are others I haven't found yet, but for some reason I have no problem accessing YouTube, Google, Facebook, Instagram, etc.

I have no clue how to troubleshoot this any further. Something goes wrong after closing Firefox after reinstalling it. I can't keep reinstalling it every time I turn my computer on. I also don't want to have to use hibernate constantly to keep the first instance open.

Any ideas?

Long term issue of losing pinned tabs because I break a tab off the main firefox instance to work on it in a seperate window and then at some stage I close the firefox window that contains the pinned tabs AND AFTER I close the breakout tab and this seems to remember that no pinned tabs ever existed. This behaviour is idiotic and clearly buggy, certainly shouldn't be a feature or normal behaviour.

The pinned tabs feature is advertised as placing permanently some tabs that open for sure at every launch of firefox in a known location to the left - things we use just about everyday (gmail, iCloud, reddit etc), hence their permanence and it seems to be impossible to code something that if NO firefox window is opened then when we launch Firefox we get the default view of our pinned tabs and a fresh page OR default homepage etc.

Seems ridiculous to me. Whats the logic here ? I vote FOR making this a permanent feature.
