What has happened to all of my Task Bar / Tool Bar? As of today, Sunday Nov. 26th, everything is gone. In addition the browser itself looks "different" some how.

I often see a Shortcut on my New Tab that I have never gone to, which says "sponsored" on it. I do not want these ads. I have looked up the answer: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/sponsor-privacy?as=u&utm_source=inproduct I can manually delete a sponsored shortcut once, but this does not stop them from coming onto future New Tabs. My problem is, the long-term answer simply does not work. Settings -> Home -> Firefox Home Content simply does not contain a section that says "Sponsored shortcuts" and therefore this solution is not accessable. I am on Version 120 as suggested. What is going wrong? How do I prevent these ads from appearing on the New Tab page?

I have an issue with the address bar in private windows. Normally when you click on the search bar in the new tab page, it will redirect the cursor to the address bar instead of letting you use the search bar.

I found the following solution on the forum here that works for normal windows: go to the about:config page and set browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar to false.

For private windows, this fix does not work. It will still go to the address bar instead of letting you use the search bar. Is there another way for me to fix this so that it will also work in private windows?

Hi, I got a new laptop recently and ever since then I've been experiencing this problem. Websites like https://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com or https://ukutabs.com offer the option to autoscroll, so that you can play your instrument without having to pause your playing and scroll further yourself. This feature hasn't been working for me ever since I got my new device and since it's various sites, I suppose the problem must be in the browser itself, I just can't figure it out. In the case of Ultimate Guitar, when I click autoscroll, it does move slightly, once, but then stops again, and you'd miss the movement if you're not paying close attention. I can switch between various speeds on this site as well, but it doesn't do anything. In case of Ukutabs, there's not even any kind of response from the site when I click the option. I tried turning on and off Firefox settings concerning autoscrolling and smooth scrolling, but nothing solved my problem.

I have been unable to send or receive emails for the past week when I try to send a message I get this message come up .... .. Sending message failed.... The message could not be sent because the connection to outgoing server SMTP smtp.gmail.com timed out try again..... I dont know why this has happened and I cannot fix it???

I deleted some emails on the weekend by mistake so I went into trash to retrieve them but couldn't find them. I checked again this morning and they are still not there. Please help Thank you, Basma Brown

On https://careers.usmc-mccs.org/psc/hprd/EMPLOYEE/HRMS/c/HRS_HRAM_FL.HRS_CG_SEARCH_FL.GBL?Page=HRS_CAREERS_FL&Action=U when I log in and go to my page, Firefox will not allow me to scroll and see all of the information whereas Chrome and Edge does. I am not sure if there is a setting incorrect in Firefox or it is blocking an area from scrolling. I added a copy of the screenshots below from Edge and Firefox.

Firefox browser is not responding. I cannot click the menu as suggested because when I do the whole page crashes. How do I fix this "firefox not responding" issue?

I can't get rid of a solid green screen when playing back internet video, on You Tube for example. The problem only started recently - it was fine before that. I have always used Firefox as my default browser.

I was working in Firefox, everything was working fine and all of a sudden, by tabs began to crash. I only had 2 tabs open. I opened Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode and still, the tabs crashed. I opened More Troubleshooting Information and tried to Refresh Firefox, but it appeared nothing happened.

I don't know what happened because the browser was working fine earlier this morning and I didn't do anything to compromise it. I didn't go to settings and change anything. I suspect someone may have 'hacked in,' if that is still even a 'thing.' I think this because when I try to shut off my internet temporarily someone turns it back on and I usually have to 'fight' with whoever that is to get my internet to go off. I tried to ask google a question I wanted the answer to. That question was, how long does the flu last (because I have it or covid.) I also asked how long does covid last. What happened was that spinning thing where it was continually searching but never going to the site. Can you help, please? Thanks in advance if you can.

Uncontrollable reloading of pages - 2 urls in past week - currently: https://www.4wdsupacentre.com.au/ - refresh occurs at varying intervals from not fully loaded (less than 2 seconds) to 10 seconds

I have been a loyal Mozilla user for many years and it will be a lot of work to to transfer to chrome or edge but continuing problem with camera/microphone access and now this rubbish makes it necessary.

When I try to use youtube.com on Firefox I have problems with the page loading correctly. The sidebar menu doesn't populate leaving only a white space where all the options should be. When I click on a video a red progress bar will fill about 75% of the way and then just hang and the video will never load.

I have tried clearing my cache and cookies, deleting all data, refreshing my browser at least 5 times and ran under troubleshooting (safe) mode but the same issue persists.

This does NOT happen under Edge at all, only with Firefox.

I opened my bookmarks today to find out that all my bookmarks are showing the same web address (Chevrolet.com). And when I went to Recovery, I only found the backup that Firefox did today with the single web address for all my bookmarks. Firefox was updated to version 120 on 11/21/2023.

Why is when I leave multiple windows open with multiple open in the windows, the next I go to look for the window it's closed. Sometimes it happens when Windows updates, sometimes it doesn't.

Why I'm asking this question here is ridiculous! I never get an answer. Anybody else had a issue with this? Is there a Browser that doesn't do this, I'm fed with FireFox!!

I find that OneNote Web Clipper extension is not available for Firefox now. I'm sure it used to be. Why is it not available and is there a workaround to be able to use it still in FF? Windows 11.

When attempting to update my Mozilla account from my Firefox settings, I was unable to add my secondary email address because of an error message stating that the secondary email account exists...

Repeating this action in case of a bug resulted in being locked out of that particular window.

I have no idea what that error message means, nor how to circumnavigate it. Please help!
