My API URL is giving me CORS Error in Mozilla Firefox, but in other browser there is no error. I have tried many methods like changing the about:config but it didn't make any difference. Its been days I am facing this issue. Kindly help. Thanks in Advance.

Hi All,

I'm trying to change the appearance of the "Bookmarks Toolbar / Chevron >>" popup menu, which (after version 88) has turned bright white with extra padding between menu items and rounded corners.

I'm a fan of system menus, so I would really like the popup menu to look like the regular bookmarks menu from the top menu bar (see attached image).

I also like the subtle chiseled vertical line separating the favicons and the descriptions, and the 1px gray border around the menu, plus square corners.

I took a guess at some of the variable names, but only the menu's background color has changed.

Maybe someone knows how to change other attributes such as border color, radius, menu-item-height, padding, and add in the 3D vertical column line?

The PTL network stopped working for playing live tv, it's the only live broadcast I have trouble with, all other PTL network features work fine, it does not matter what performance setting is used.

Hello, I have been looking at my traffic and discovered that my firefox for some reason does multiple DNS queries for the same domain, usually 6 times or 3 times, why is that happening I have checked with chrome and it does only 1 request per domain name.

I have attached a wireshark dump, the response is there instantly in very few ms yet it keeps querying the same name again.

My version is 115.3.1esr (64-bit) I have checked in about:config with dns and couldnt find anything relevant.

Pls look to my crash reports and help me know what is their source. Thanks!

PC/WIN7 - I access my bank and get a login screen from them... when I enter my name and password I get a "FILE NOT FOUND" ... but it accesses just fine on my android phone or on my other laptop running WIN10... maybe a problem in firefox site permissions ?? I'm trying to set the border color for my url & search bars to gray when non-focused, and blue when receiving the focus.

The following code works for the search bar, but the url bar is receiving a separate blue border around the gray border, instead of changing the color from gray to blue.

Can someone suggest how I might set the url bar to blue (just a single border, not the double it has now), both when it has focus and when it's expanded?

The last few days Firefox 115.8esr started to give me a "Gah. Your tab just crashed." whenever I try to load somes pages, also sometimes it shutdowns as soon as a video is played in youtube.

Hello. I am recovering data and files from an old Windows XP machine and have installed Firefox ESR browser. I can go online without problems but when trying to log into my account for Firefox Sync I get the error message " Blocked by Content Security Policy This page has a content security policy that prevents it from being loaded in this way". I have used Pocket, and found it useful, but am infuriated by one issue. If I don't click on a particular selection, I cannot get back to it on Pocket. Why is this? Why can't I get back to the display of Pocket articles when I choose not to follow a particular avenue? This really gets my goat.

After update I am no longer able to open a new tab with the "add new tab"button, nor with the Ctrl + T command. A new tab will open if right clicking on a Link on page or search result and selecting/scrolling to "open in new tab". Win 7 (64bit) , FireFox Browser build 100.0(64 bit)

I recently installed Firefox 100 on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (a major leap from previously installed Firefox 56).

No major squawks initially, everything was more or less as expected, but then I started to notice anomalies in the designation of visited vs. unvisited links, and possibly with clearing of history in general (see my previous question at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1376052, still unresolved).

I'm now convinced something is definitely wrong with history clearing and/or session restores. One glaring example: Firefox 100 is overriding my choice to uncheck the "Open previous windows and tabs" box in Settings/General. The box will reset to checked after I close/relaunch Firefox, and indeed I've seen it become reset to checked in the same session, without even closing the program!

Moreover, after clearing the history prior to exiting Firefox (Shift-Ctrl-Delete, all history and data boxes checked) and then restarting Firefox, the most recently visited website will often (but not always) be restored. Remarkably, when this happens and I go to Menu/History, it shows (or claims) that history is empty!

I have tried opening About:config and setting browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash to false, it has no effect.

This is very peculiar and disturbing, thanks for any feedback/suggestions.

Why can't I change the volume in one tab? During a meeting, for example, the radio is on, and it is much louder than the meeting, and you cannot adjust the volume of a single tab. This is very bothersome, not only in the above case. These pages determine the volume themselves. Some have regulations on the site, but not always. I am very tired of this problem. Are there any ways to change the volume of a given tab?
