Firefox will not allow my to post comments on Yahoo. I have no issues with Chrome or Safari. I get the following error message: Your comment failed to publish. Retry

All Add-ons are disabled and Firefox still can not play SOME of the videos on twitter. All I can see is a spinning circle on the center of the frame and the video will never be played. I tried other browsers and they all works well. It seems this issue has nothing to do with my network connection.

I searched this forum and find out some thread reporting issues of not playing All videos on youtube/twitter. Replies to these thread provided some solutions ,like update ffmpeg , set media related options in about:config. I tried them all and neither of them work for me.

Hello! I need some help. Every since 4-6 months ago, Firefox has been extremely slow when I boot it up at first, with some page load times taking more than 10 minutes. Some fixes have seemed to work, but they never work permanently. From my testing, it is not the result of any extension and the issue persists in troubleshoot mode. What has not helped my testing is that, after enough restarts of Firefox, the problem goes away and web pages load quickly, so this has caused some false positives. Has anyone else had a similar problem they were able to fix? Should I try uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling it?

I've noticed lately that my Firefox keeps freezing and hanging up at random periods for no apparent reason. I have very few plugins and it even happens with them all disabled and removed. I've tried resetting Firefox to default everything yet it makes no difference.

Also I can not clear history. I've tried multiple different clear history plugins but none of them work at all. And when I try the traditional way of clearing Firefox history the window pops up and then the entire browser just freezes while 'clearing' and never gives me back control, I have to force quit and restart to regain control. And then when I relaunch the history is still not cleared!

So aside from the constant lagging and lockups it seems that any attempt to delete history whether using the inbuilt function or adding plugins messes up the whole browser.

Googling this issue it seems others are having the exact same problem with Firefox and yet any suggested solutions (reset browser) don't seem to be working for may of them.. Or me.

Why can't Firefox copy text to the clipboard anymore? It won't copy text from a web page, from a URL, or even from about:support "Copy text to clipboard"!!! I'm using version 1.22 64 bit on windows 11. I've reinstalled Firefox but it doesn't make a difference. I've tried "Troubleshoot Mode" and it's still broken!!!

I can paste into Firefox but something has broken copy!

Prior to about a month ago, downloading worked as expected: - click a link - the save to... dialog opened - choose the folder - the download is off and running

No more. For about the past month - click a link - wait for a long time with FF frozen - the a wheel starts rotating - after a full minute (or more) the save dialog appears.

Something has been broken in the mad-dash to push updates. It's fine for browsing, but the, you need to download. At that point you wish you were using a different browser (any other browser, in fact) since FF is the only oe that has this problem. Downloading works fine in a 8 chromium browsers that I have and in the 5 FF clones (like Waterfox)

It's just FF that's broken. I can no longer afford to set it as default because of this. The others are not perfect (WF won't activate Pocket, foe example) but downloading promptly is critical.

I am encountering an issue where Firefox throws an "Uncaught out of memory" error in the console, despite my system having ample RAM available. Here are the details of the problem:

• Error Message in Console: Uncaught out of memory
• Memory Usage Observed: Using about:processes, I noticed that Firefox's maximum memory usage caps at around 7GB.
• System Specifications: The machine running Firefox has 128GB of RAM, so there should be plenty of memory available.
• Firefox Version: 126.0a1

Given the significant amount of RAM available on my machine, it seems unusual that Firefox would hit a memory limit at just 7GB. I suspect there might be a bug or a misconfiguration causing this issue.

Can you please assist in diagnosing and resolving this problem? Are there any settings or configurations I should adjust, or is this a known issue with the current version of Firefox?

I have been getting a message that says firefox has something running and cannot shut down. I went into task manager and 'shut down' firefox, but the message keeps on coming. I then thought that I would uninstall it and then reinstall, but it tells me that it cannot uninstall because it is running, -"Firefox is already running but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window." When I click on ' Close Firefox' nothing happens. when I click on 'Cancel' the message disappears, but will reappear. Then in desperation, I went into program files and deleted the Fifefox folders but it wouldn't reinstall. There is obviously somewhere a file/file which is screwing me up, does anyone know what this it?

I am using Windows 7 and Firefox 115.5. When I close Firefox, it stalls and after a minute I get an error message saying Windows Explorer is hung up. Then if I can get an option to close the program. I have tried many ways to exit Firefox but nothing helps this. Thanks.

i log in att/yahoo or gmail, email on the web browser as well your website right now using the latest firefox browser and the letters are kind of foggy, i will attach a screen shot for you. the problem doesn't happen when i use microsoft edge or chrome, can you please fix it? thank you, Liev

Firefox has crashed repeatedly when I've switched tabs to my gmail in the past ~15 minutes. It happens in "troubleshooting mode" as well. I'm running firefox on a linux computer, and my ubuntu installation and firefox are both up to date.

Firefox browser is not responding. I cannot click the menu as suggested because when I do the whole page crashes. How do I fix this "firefox not responding" issue?

Since yesterday any streaming services such as Netflix or Hulu will only have green screen for the video. The sound will come through just fine and subtitles. My Wildvine is updated, I've toggled the DRM on and off several times, no changes. My browser has been checked for updates. Not sure what else to try at this point.

Whenever I start Firefox as "New Private Window", I see in Task Manager, that Skype loads up into memory. Skype is Not found anywhere in any of the the Firefox Settings windows, not even as there but disabled. This does not occur when I open a regular Firefox window.

Firefox is my browser, and Outlook my email program. After years of troublefree access to Kickstarter, I now cannot link to the site, neither by Google search, nor by responding to an email link sent to me by Kickstarter. Instead, I get a message which reads:

'You are sending too many requests to Kickstarter at this time. Please contact support@kickstarter.com if you continue to see this error.'

I have contacted Kickstarter, but their response is that the problem probably lies with my browser. Do you have any idea why this problem should suddenly have appeared?
