i updated to fire fox 4 from 3.6 and trend micro extention isnt compatible i dont want to be open to attacks on the internet . what do i do

i have a new laptop running windows 7. i just upgraded my fire fox and i have trend micro titanium security anti virus. when i updated it disabled my extension trend micro that checks web sites and scans downloads for viruses . it says it is not compatible with fire fox 4. what do i do? i like firefox but, do not want to be not secured . HELP.
