Certain websites load properly through Internet Explorer but the page is not formatted correctly when opened through Firefox.

I have run across some websites that I visit frequently that do not display properly in Firefox. If I want to visit these pages I must do so using Internet Explorer as my browser. This is very frustrating because I am becoming a big fan of Firefox but am hesitant to make it my default browser because of these problems.
